Standing next to favourite building due to the fact that it completely represents my hometown TORONTO the CN Tower, now the second tallest building in the world. You would have seen photos of me hanging off the side of this building in previous blog, also there is a video of my experience on Facebook.

We made it to the top of the world’s tallest building only to find out that we weren’t at the top. We were only 462m up at one of the many observation decks this amazing building has. It was very disappointing to only experience one elevator ride and one view which only took a couple of minutes to walk around. Scott and I decided to make the most of it and go around again to take some fun photos even though it was extremely hot and we couldn’t stand out on the deck for very long.
I would suggest that for anyone who is thinking of going to the observation deck maybe consider going to one of the restaurants instead as that way you get to go higher up in the tower and get a meal out of it. It was around $200 per person just to go up to this level. I guess coming from Toronto and walking around the outside of the CN Tower, I was just hoping for more and wanting to really view it from the actual TOP.
I am glad I got to experience it, as they had a lot of footage of it being built before going up the tower. I also recommend booking your ticket in advance as they do sell out fast and I would not know what time of day is best as it is so sandy all the time so a clear view would be hard to tell. My recommendation would be to read some reviews online before going booking, do not just a time. You do not want to end up like us visiting it at the one of the hottest times during the day 11:00 am (11:30-12:30 pm on the observation deck)
I am undecided if I would recommend doing this tour or not. If you have never been on top of any tower or observation deck then yes, otherwise maybe not.
